Brandt Snedeker wins Myrtle Beach Classic in emotional return

Brandt Snedeker captured his first PGA Tour victory in more than seven years on Sunday at the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic. The 45-year-old ended a long drought marked by injury and doubt with a final-round 65 that forced a dramatic finish at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club.

Snedeker finished at 18 under par after Mark Hubbard missed a 24-foot putt on the 18th hole, sparing Snedeker a playoff. He had started the day four shots behind but birdied five of his first 15 holes before a bogey on the last left him waiting anxiously on the range as Hubbard played in.
