A new beta update to the DSX app enables full DualSense controller features over Bluetooth on PC. Players must purchase the app and DLC to access the functionality.
The v3.2 patch for DSX, released in beta, creates a virtual DualSense device that passes native signals from supported games. This allows haptics and Bluetooth audio to function without a cable.
The main app costs £7.15 or $8 on Steam, with the DSX+ DLC adding £3.59 or $4. A bundle offers a slight discount. The software must run in the background, though manual launches outside Steam are permitted for up to 28 days before a login refresh is needed.
Sony has not released an official wireless adapter for the controller on PC. Third-party solutions like DSX remain the primary option for wireless use of advanced features.
