Federer and Murray set to join Wawrinka farewell event

Stan Wawrinka will stage an exhibition event in Geneva on December 19 to mark the end of his career. Roger Federer, Andy Murray and Gael Monfils are scheduled to take part.

Wawrinka announced the event, called “One Last Backhand,” in a video posted on Instagram. He said 2026 is his final season after more than 20 years on tour.

The 41-year-old will play at Wimbledon after receiving a wildcard entry. He is drawn against Matteo Berrettini in the first round.

Wawrinka has struggled this season and sits at world No. 110. The exhibition offers a final chance for fans to see him alongside former rivals.
