MKP anuncia seus membros para comitê de impeachment

O uMkhonto weSizwe Party nomeou três membros para integrar o comitê de impeachment da África do Sul, composto por 31 pessoas, que analisa as evidências contra o presidente Cyril Ramaphosa.

O uMkhonto weSizwe Party anunciou na terça-feira que seus representantes no comitê serão o Dr. John Hlophe, primeiro vice-presidente e líder parlamentar do partido, a líder da bancada (Chief Whip) Mmabatho Mokoena-Zondi e a Dra. Khanyisile Litchfield-Tshabalala.

Os partidos políticos devem enviar os nomes à presidente da Assembleia Nacional, Thoko Didiza, até sexta-feira para o comitê, que foi estabelecido após uma decisão do Tribunal Constitucional.

O painel analisará evidências prima facie relacionadas à moeda estrangeira retirada da fazenda Phala Phala de Ramaphosa.
