Örebro municipality tightens control on side jobs after review

Örebro municipality will gain better control over employees' side jobs. The decision was taken recently and work to map these activities is now starting.

Following Nerikes Allehanda's review of side activities in the region, Örebro municipality has decided to tighten controls.

The decision was made in recent days. Work is now beginning to gain an overview of which side jobs exist among employees.

“We have definitely seen that there are side jobs that are unsuitable,” said Lars-Åke Brattlund, HR director.

The review showed, among other things, that managers had time-consuming companies alongside their full-time jobs.
