PlayStation Network outage disrupts Marvel Tokon beta

The PlayStation Network experienced widespread outages on July 24, 2026, affecting logins and services for thousands of users. The disruption coincided with the launch of the free Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls beta weekend.

Reports of server issues began in the morning, with the PSN status page stating that all services were experiencing problems. Affected areas included account management and digital purchases on PS Vita, PS3, PS4, PS5, and Web PSN.

The outage came at an inopportune time as players tried to access the Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls open beta. Steam data showed the game reaching a peak of 22,087 concurrent players that morning.

By 3:57 p.m. ET, the status page updated to indicate that all services were up and running. Sony has not provided details on the cause or scale of the outage.

Some users speculated about a connection to earlier Amazon Web Services problems, but AWS reported its issues resolved without immediate improvement to PSN.
