Sheinbaum confirma inauguração do Trem Suburbano para o AIFA em 26 de abril

A presidente Claudia Sheinbaum anunciou que o Trem Suburbano de Buenavista ao Aeroporto Internacional Felipe Ángeles (AIFA) será inaugurado no domingo, 26 de abril. Ela confirmou a informação durante sua coletiva de imprensa matinal na segunda-feira, 20 de abril. A data já havia sido antecipada pela secretária de Governo, Rosa Icela Rodríguez.

A secretária de Governo, Rosa Icela Rodríguez, havia mencionado na sexta-feira anterior que tudo estava preparado para a abertura no fim de semana passado, mas houve um adiamento devido à viagem de Sheinbaum a Barcelona. Construída por engenheiros da Secretaria da Defesa Nacional (Sedena), a extensão de 23 quilômetros parte da estação Lechería, passando por Tultitlán, Tultepec, Nextlalpan e Zumpango, com seis novas estações.

O ramal permite viajar do centro da Cidade do México ao AIFA em cerca de 39 minutos sem necessidade de baldeações. Os 10 trens circularão a cada 10 minutos, das 5h00 à 00h30, transportando até 82.000 passageiros diariamente por meio da Tarjeta de Movilidad Integrada. O sistema conta com áreas para bagagem e visa impulsionar o desenvolvimento logístico regional.

Sheinbaum havia prometido a inauguração para a Semana Santa, mas testes finais de sinalização, trilhos e material rodante causaram o atraso. A infraestrutura utilizou 1.500 toneladas de aço, 96.000 dormentes e 50.000 metros cúbicos de concreto.
