Oromia Caffee Speaker Saada Abdurehman made the remarks at a panel discussion on the 71st Tulama Gadaa system power transfer held at the Adwa Victory Memorial in Addis Ababa.
She described the Gadaa system as a contribution of the Oromo people to the country and the world, noting that it enables peaceful power transfer without selfishness or conflict.
The Tulama Gadaa power transfer ceremony is scheduled from June 4 to 7, 2018 EC.
