Tori Amos announces new album and US summer tour

Tori Amos is set to release her new album In Times of Dragons on May 1, 2026, via Universal/Fontana. The album explores themes of democracy versus tyranny. She will support it with a 35-date US tour starting in July.

Tori Amos has revealed details of her upcoming album, In Times of Dragons, due out on May 1, 2026, through Universal/Fontana. In a press release, Amos described the record as "a metaphorical story about the fight for Democracy over Tyranny, reflecting the current abhorrent non-accidental burning down of democracy in real time by the ‘Dictator believing Lizard Demons’ in their usurpation of America."

The announcement coincides with the reveal of an extensive US tour comprising 35 shows this summer. The itinerary begins on July 7 at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach, Florida, and concludes on September 2 in Seattle, Washington, at a venue to be announced. Highlights include two nights at New York's Beacon Theatre on July 24 and 25, and a headline performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, on August 20.

Other stops span cities like Orlando, New Orleans, Austin, Nashville, Atlanta, and Los Angeles, with performances at venues such as the Ryman Auditorium, Wolf Trap, and the Greek Theatre. Tickets go on presale for exclusive artist access starting Wednesday, January 21, at 10 a.m. local time via Amos's website, followed by general sale on Friday, January 23, at 10 a.m. local time through Ticketmaster.

This project follows Amos's children's book Tori and the Muses and its soundtrack, which earned a nomination for Best Children’s Music Album at the 2025 Grammy Awards. The tour and album mark her return to original material after that nomination.
