The fatal shooting occurred on December 12 in Oxie, a suburb of Malmö, where a 12-year-old boy allegedly shot dead a man in his 20s inside a car. As previously reported, the boy—Sweden's youngest murder suspect—is linked to the Foxtrot criminal network, not criminally responsible due to his age, and now in social services care.
Prosecutor Caroline Carlquist confirmed the women were in Malmö that weekend and are suspected of providing aids like mobile phones, clothing, or transport to the crime scene. Both women, known to police, face charges of aiding murder and three attempted murders; police are probing four people in the car as potential targets and possible instigators. One woman has prior suspicions for serious weapons offenses.
The boy's tragic background includes exposure to violence, abuse, and crime at home, foster care from age seven, school fights, and an escape from an HVB home in mid-December. The investigation involves interrogations, camera footage, and phone analysis, with Carlquist noting: 'We are investigating all four who were in the car as potential targets.'
