inDrive strengthens identity verification for delivery partners

inDrive announced strengthened identity verification for delivery partners in Latin America, featuring internal and external checks to boost delivery safety. The process covers document and background reviews, plus tools like real-time tracking and OTP confirmation.

inDrive rolled out a new validation process for all delivery partners registering on its platform in Latin America. It combines internal document checks with additional scrutiny by external provider Truora, enabling near-instant approvals.

The company is also proactively reviewing its existing delivery partner base for a gradual shift to greater reliability.

Key enhancements include viewing partner details before accepting services, real-time shipment tracking, OTP delivery confirmations, and B2B controls. In the first half of 2025, these cut cancellations by 25% in major cities, with post-pickup rates dropping from 3% to 1.2%.

New rules require three successful deliveries before business orders, targeting small and medium enterprises. Features like 300-meter location validation and ongoing checks prove effective: 96% complete verification, and under 1% are removed.

Harold Forero, inDrive's Colombia representative, stated: «This strengthening of verification processes marks a key step in our quality and safety strategy for inDrive Entregas. Our goal is to keep building a reliable environment for users and business clients, backed by increasingly robust technology, processes, and controls to make a fairer world».
