The first-instance decision, issued on July 31, 2025, by the Disciplinary Prosecutor's Office for Judgment 4, held him accountable for breaching duties of respect, propriety, dignity, and integrity in public service. The ruling stated that the captain engaged in non-consensual sexual conduct toward a resident doctor, constituting substantial wrongdoing in his dual role as specialist and instructor.
Following the appeal, the Ordinary Disciplinary Chamber for Judgment reviewed the evidence with a gender perspective and upheld the initial sanction. The behavior was classified as a very serious offense committed with intent.
