12 miljoner kronor till forskning om naturturism i Malingsbo-Kloten

Malingsbo-Kloten blir testområde för ett nytt projekt om hållbar naturturism som får stöd från EU och två regioner.

Projektet Digital Grön tvilling ska skapa en digital modell av området. Forskarna ska följa besöksflöden, slitage och naturvärden i realtid.

Tobias Heldt är projektledare. Han säger att målet är att få bättre förståelse för hur besökare rör sig.

Omkring 12 miljoner kronor kommer från EU samt regionerna Dalarna och Värmland. Modellen ska visa hur olika insatser påverkar både natur och besöksnäring.
