Disneys Animal Kingdom testar en vandringsupplevelse med kängurur

Disneys Animal Kingdom har påbörjat tester av ett nytt vandringsalternativ vid Jumping Junction som tillåter små grupper av gäster att gå in i känguru- och vallabyhägnet vid Conservation Station.

Testupplevelsen kräver att besökare håller sig i rörelse genom området medan en djurvårdare ger information om djuren. Grupper om cirka 10 personer tas in åt gången, och processen pausas om djuren visar tecken på rastlöshet.

Hägnet hyser för närvarande 15 djur, inklusive fem med ungar i pungen och en hanne av arten röd känguru. Gäster får inte röra vid djuren under vandringen.

Testperioden inleddes efter att Bluey’s Wild World öppnade i slutet av maj. Den 11 juni fanns turerna tillgängliga sporadiskt under dagen. Parkens personal siktar på att öka djurens komfortnivå över tid med målet att så småningom tillåta fritt tillträde till hägnet.
