DSV Schenker sätter in autonoma lastbilar på rutt i Texas

Den danska logistikjätten DSV/Schenker har blivit det första europeiska företaget att använda autonoma lastbilar på kommersiella långdistansrutter.

Sedan mitten av maj har företaget trafikerat sin 370 kilometer långa rutt mellan Dallas och Houston med en förarlös lastbil. Helmut Schweighofer, VD för DSV:s vägtransportdivision, uppgav att tekniken snart även kommer att introduceras i Tyskland. Han gav inget specifikt datum. DSV har tidigare drivit ett pilotprojekt på nivå 2 plus tillsammans med dm och Iveco.
