DSV Schenker déploie des camions autonomes sur une ligne au Texas

Le géant danois de la logistique DSV/Schenker est devenu la première entreprise européenne à déployer des camions autonomes sur des liaisons commerciales longue distance.

Depuis la mi-mai, l'entreprise exploite sa ligne de 370 kilomètres entre Dallas et Houston avec un camion sans conducteur. Helmut Schweighofer, PDG de la division transport routier de DSV, a déclaré que la technologie serait bientôt introduite en Allemagne également. Il n'a fourni aucune date précise. DSV avait précédemment mené un projet pilote de niveau 2 plus avec dm et Iveco.
