Galatasaray-supportrar firar mästerskap med festligheter i Berlin

Supportrar av turkiskt ursprung firade Galatasaray turkiska ligaseger i Berlin på lördagskvällen. Polisen rapporterade att flera hundra deltagare samlades främst längs Kurfürstendamm.

Galatasaray säkrade mästerskapstiteln med en 4:2-seger mot Antalyaspor i Istanbul. Laget har nu en ointaglig ledning före stadsrivalen Fenerbahçe.

I Berlin samlades ett par dussin supportrar först vid Breitscheidplatz. Inom en timme växte folkmassan till flera hundra. Många körde bilar och motorcyklar prydda med klubbflaggor.

Polisen beskrev antalet firande som ett lågt fyrsiffrigt antal. Supportrar sköt upp fyrverkerier, men inga upplopp inträffade. Poliser höll pepparspray redo men använde det inte.

Liknande festligheter förra året ledde till allvarliga sammandrabbningar. Då skadades 33 poliser och 34 supportrar frihetsberövades.
