Järv fångad på film vid hårfälla i norra Uppsala län

En järv har filmats när den balanserar på en hårfälla i norra Uppsala län. Fällan är del av den pågående nationella inventeringen av arten.

I norra delarna av Uppsala län har två hårfällor satts upp som lockar järven med kött. Metallborstar på stången samlar pälsprover utan att fånga djuret.

Anders Johannesson, vilthandläggare vid Länsstyrelsen Uppsala län, förklarar att järven troligen är den hanne som kallas individ 7744. Han bildade revir i området 2023.

Enligt Naturvårdsverket fanns mellan 675 och 731 järvar i Sverige vid inventeringen 2025. Arten är listad som sårbar i SLU:s Artdatabank från mars 2026.

En ny nationell sammanställning av järvpopulationen pågår just nu.
