Honda launches three new motorcycles in Chilean market

Honda Motor de Chile introduced the CB100, CB125 Hornet, and SP160, low-displacement models featuring enhancements in efficiency, safety, and technology. These bikes address urban mobility needs and meet Chile's standards effective 2026. Prices start at $1.290.000.

Honda kicked off its 2026 season in Chile by launching three low-displacement motorcycles: the CB100, CB125 Hornet, and SP160. They feature four-stroke single-cylinder engines, optimized fuel systems, and fuel efficiencies up to 60 km/l for the first two, and 50 km/l for the SP160.

The CB100, aimed at daily commuting, has a 98 cc engine with 7.1 HP and costs $1.290.000. The CB125 Hornet sports a aggressive design with a 124 cc engine, 10.9 HP, front ABS brake, and TFT dashboard, priced at $2.090.000. The SP160, more versatile, offers 162 cc, 13 HP, and 14.8 Nm torque, with disc brakes and ABS on both axles, for $2.290.000.

All models include front ABS or CBS brakes, LED lighting, digital panels, and USB-C ports, complying with Chile's 2026 regulations. Honda also updated the CB190R to $2.990.000.

"This launch reflects our commitment to offering motorcycles that combine efficiency, technology, and safety, responding to the new market demands. We want to continue leading with reliable and accessible products for different user profiles," stated José Ignacio Zenteno, 2W commercial submanager at Honda Motor de Chile.
