Gavana Sakaja anabadilisha maafisa wakuu wa kaunti wiki chache baada ya makubaliano na Ruto

Gavana wa Nairobi Johnson Sakaja ametenganisha maafisa wakuu watano wa kaunti na athari mara moja ili kuboresha utoaji huduma. Mabadiliko haya yanakuja wiki chache tu baada ya makubaliano yake na Rais William Ruto. Sakaja amesaini mabadiliko hayo chini ya Sheria ya Serikali za Kaunti.

Gavana Johnson Sakaja amebadilisha nafasi za maafisa wakuu watano wa kaunti wiki hii, Aprili 24, 2026, ili kuimarisha utoaji huduma katika Nairobi.

Dkt Machel Waikenda, ambaye alikuwa Afisa Mkuu wa Usafiri na Kaimu Afisa Mkuu wa Miundombinu ya ICT, amehama kwenda Ardhi na Kaimu Usafiri. Waikenda aliidhinishwa Mei 2024 kama Afisa Mkuu wa Masuala ya Kiuchumi na akahamia Usafiri Agosti 2024.

Cecilia Koigu amehama kutoka Ardhi kwenda Miundombinu ya ICT. Yeye ni mmoja wa maafisa 33 waliotajwa Desemba 2022 na kuteuliwa Ardhi.

Muhandisi Bob Ariemba ameteuliwa kuongoza Kaimu Ujenzi. Dkt Irene Muchoki, mmoja wa maafisa wakuu waliotumikia muda mrefu, amehama kutoka Huduma za Matibabu kwenda Jinsia na Uwajibikaji. Mariam Dubow Dahir amebadilishwa kutoka Jinsia na Uwajibikaji kwenda Huduma za Matibabu, na kubadilishana na Muchoki.

Mabadiliko haya yamesainiwa na Sakaja chini ya Kifungu 45(5) cha Sheria ya Serikali za Kaunti 2012 na yanatumika mara moja. Hii inafuata upya wa Novemba 18, 2025, ulioathiri mawaziri saba kati ya 10 wakati Sakaja alikuwa chini ya shinikizo la kuondolewa madarakani.
