According to the latest SOM survey from the University of Gothenburg, the share of Swedes chatting with an AI bot weekly rose from 12 to 36 percent between 2024 and 2025. At the same time, skepticism toward AI has grown, with 62 percent viewing it as a greater risk than opportunity for society.

A survey by GAD 3 and Valdecarros Madrid shows that 18 percent of those planning to acquire housing in coming years will not use it as their primary residence. Seventy-five percent of Madrid residents intend to change homes within five years.

A biennial survey shows that about one in three Hong Kong adults have moderate to severe depression symptoms, nearly triple the rate from 2012, with Generation Z respondents spending much time on screens most affected. The study also found that 22 percent of respondents turned to AI chatbots for stress management, which experts on Thursday called “risky” as it could delay professional help. The depression index stood at 7.27, the highest since 2012.

An Ipsos survey in 29 countries found that Generation Z men hold the most traditional views on gender role distribution. They particularly express conservative opinions on obedience in marriage and income differences. In Germany, there is broad support for fair division of labor, but perception gaps persist.

A national survey by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace reveals that 47% of Americans believe China has already surpassed the US or will do so within the next five years. Another 27% think the shift will take longer, while 26% say China will never catch up. The poll was conducted from November 24 to December 1.
