中国实现碳-14核电池自主研发里程碑

西北师范大学与甘肃烛龙科技合作团队于周一推出全新碳-14核电池及碳化硅换能器,该设备完全采用国产技术与部件。

该设备名为乾玑元天枢电池,是团队2024年11月推出的烛龙一号原型的重大升级。

新电池放射性材料用量降至原来的22%,短路电流提升至2.5倍,最大功率提升至2.6倍,有效体积仅为原来的17%,体积功率密度提高15.5倍。

项目负责人苏茂根表示,碳-14半衰期为5730年,理论寿命可达数千年,设备可在零下100摄氏度至200摄氏度之间可靠运行。

中国科技报周二报道称,核电池对中国航天、极地任务及新能源战略至关重要。
