California designer Doni Nahmias captured his spring 2027 menswear collection titled Patina during a two-hour photoshoot on Santa Monica beaches.
The lookbook highlights Nahmias's surf- and skate-inspired designs, including boxy outerwear, oversized shorts, and pants with a vintage feel. It also features handmade lace from India with a dachshund motif and delicate embroidery on jeans and jackets.
Nahmias described the collection as blending childish elements with refined textures. "It’s all about taking something childish, kiddish, and refining it with textures and blending the old and the new," he said.
The shoot took advantage of the fading daylight to include the illuminated Santa Monica pier Ferris wheel in the background. The designer has gained attention this year for a jacket worn by Timothée Chalamet and a Formula 1 partnership.
