وافق الرئيس المصري عبد الفتاح السيسي على خطة تطوير شاملة لمدينة الجلالة على ساحل البحر الأحمر لمدة أربع سنوات، تهدف إلى تحويلها إلى مركز متكامل للسياحة والتجارة والنشاط الاقتصادي. راجع السيسي المشاريع الجارية في اجتماع مع مسؤولين عسكريين وتنفيذيين كبار.

أكد السيسي على أهمية إنجاز المشاريع بأعلى المعايير الدولية وفي الآجال المحددة، لتعزيز الاستثمار والسياحة والتوظيف. وجه بتعديلات على طريق العين السخنة - زعفرانة لتحسين السلامة وتقليل الحوادث.

تشمل الخطة بناء أبراج سكنية وسياحية على ساحل البحر الأحمر، ومارينا خدمية، وفنادق تضم مرافق اقتصادية وطبية وتعليمية. كما سيتم تطوير مارينات عائمة إضافية لجذب الشركات الدولية وجعل الجلالة مركزاً عالمياً للتجارة والخدمات البحرية.

أمر السيسي بإنشاء منطقة سكنية متكاملة لعمال المدينة تشمل مساكن ومدارس وخدمات أساسية، ضمن استراتيجية مصر لتطوير ساحلها الشرقي.
