وقّعت مصر عقداً لإجراء أول مسح جوي شامل للموارد المعدنية منذ 42 عاماً.
شهد كريم بدوي وزير البترول والثروة المعدنية توقيع العقد بين هيئة الثروة المعدنية وشركة إكسكاليبور في مطار مرسى علم.
يغطي المسح ست مناطق رئيسية تشمل الصحراء الشرقية والغربية وسيناء وواحة البهرية وأبو طرطور.
قال بدوي إن المشروع سيوفر قاعدة بيانات حديثة تقلل من مخاطر الاستكشاف وتجذب الاستثمارات.
تتمتع إكسكاليبور بخبرة واسعة بعد تنفيذ أكثر من 1400 مشروع مماثل حول العالم.
