وافقت إدارة الغذاء والدواء الأمريكية على استخدام عقار أفريزا للأطفال والمراهقين المصابين بمرض السكري ممن تبلغ أعمارهم 6 سنوات فما فوق. وقد عقدت شركة مانكايند كوربوريشن مؤتمراً عبر الهاتف في 29 مايو 2026 لمناقشة هذا القرار.
