Praktikant hos Normal beretter om hårde arbejdsforhold

En ung kvinde, der var i praktik i et år hos butikskæden Normal, beskriver at være blevet presset til at oplære nye ansatte og kritiseret for sygemelding. En gymnasieelev var i praktik hos Normal i et år inden for salg og service. Hun fik til opgave at oplære nye medarbejdere i kassearbejde, selvom hun fik afslag på et fast job. "Det føltes som om, hun lagde mere pres på mig end på de ansatte," siger hun om butikschefen.

Der var ofte fem til seks praktikanter ad gangen, hvor nye erstattede dem, der stoppede. Kollegerne gav støtte, blandt andet da lederen gav hende et upassende øgenavn. Da hun en morgen sendte en besked om sygemelding, svarede lederen: "Du ved, hvad jeg har sagt om de her sene beskeder? Du mærkede sikkert allerede noget i går."

Efterfølgende havde hun det så dårligt, at hun ikke engang kunne gå i skole. "Jeg havde det ad helvede til," siger hun, og hun har nu en bedre praktikplads med mindre pres. Oplevelsen har gjort hende nervøs for fremtidige jobansøgninger.

Normals svenske chef, Jan Nyberg, skriver i en e-mail, at vidnesbyrdene ikke stemmer overens med virksomhedens retningslinjer, som fastslår, at praktikanter aldrig må erstatte fast personale. "Praktikophold hos NORMAL skal være lærerige og trygge," udtaler han. Virksomheden iværksætter nu en bred intern gennemgang af rutiner og bemanding.
