Mercedes-Benz sælger bilforhandlere i Berlin og Brandenburg

Mercedes-Benz har annonceret salget af sine forhandlere i Berlin og Brandenburg til Global Auto Holdings. Aftalen omfatter syv lokationer og mere end 1.100 medarbejdere.

Den Stuttgart-baserede virksomhed oplyste tirsdag aften, at dens afdeling i Berlin-Brandenburg bliver overtaget af det britiske Global Auto Holdings. Fem forhandlere ligger i Berlin og to i Brandenburg. Handlen afventer stadig konkurrencemyndighedernes godkendelse og forventes afsluttet inden årets udgang.

Global Auto Holdings driver allerede Mercedes-Benz-aktiviteter i Storbritannien og USA. Mercedes-Benz annoncerede først planer om at sælge sit forhandlernetværk i 2024, hvor cirka 80 lokationer med omkring 8.000 ansatte blev berørt.

I de seneste måneder har producenten gennemført salg af andre afdelinger, herunder i Neu-Ulm, Koblenz og Dortmund. Kontrakter for yderligere lokationer såsom Aachen og Hannover blev underskrevet tidligere i 2026.
