Negative elpriser på minus 499 euro den 1. maj

Den 1. maj 2026 faldt elpriserne på den tyske børs til minus 499 euro pr. megawatttime. Høj solcelleproduktion mødte lav efterspørgsel på en helligdag. Økonomiminister Katherina Reiche planlægger reformer for at håndtere dette.

Berlin. Maj startede med ekstremt negative elpriser. Den 1. maj nåede de minus 499 euro pr. megawatttime omkring middagstid i seks på hinanden følgende kvartersperioder. Høj produktion af solenergi mødte den typisk lave efterspørgsel på en helligdag, hvilket pressede priserne ned i negativt terræn.

Skatteyderne ender med at betale regningen. Forbundsøkonomiminister Katherina Reiche (CDU) planlægger en ændring af loven om vedvarende energikilder (EEG) for at give lindring.

Lovforslaget foreskriver, at operatører af mindre solcelleanlæg på hustage ikke længere skal modtage en statsgaranteret feed-in-tarif. I stedet skal de selv markedsføre strømmen, hvilket kaldes direkte markedsføring.

Dette har til formål at skabe incitamenter til at tilpasse markedsføringen til markedets behov. Operatører kunne bruge batterilagring til at sælge strøm i perioder med høj efterspørgsel. Ved negative priser ville de lagre strømmen i stedet for at sælge den billigt.
