Saros director dodges PC questions amid Sony's reported port pullback

Housemarque's Gregory Louden avoided questions on a potential PC release for the studio's upcoming PS5 game Saros in a recent interview, focusing solely on its PlayStation launch. This follows Bloomberg reports that Sony has scrapped PC ports for first-party single-player titles including Saros.

Housemarque, known for the PS5 roguelike Returnal (which later came to PC), is developing Saros as its next Sony first-party title. In a Game Informer interview, director Gregory Louden—who joined from Remedy Entertainment—sidestepped PC queries, stating, “Today we’re only talking about Saros and the launch on the PlayStation 5.”

The comments come after a March Bloomberg report revealed Sony recently abandoned PC plans for single-player blockbusters like Ghost of Yotei and Wolverine, citing underperformance of prior ports. Sony has not officially confirmed the shift, which aims to bolster the PlayStation ecosystem. A PlayStation spokesperson declined to comment.
