Ubevåget jernbaneoverkørsel i Orsa lukkes permanent

Den ubevågede fodgængerovergang over jernbanen i det centrale Orsa bliver permanent lukket. Inlandsbanan oplyser, at passagen ikke lever op til gældende sikkerhedskrav.

Arbejdet med at fjerne det gamle hegn er allerede gået i gang. Der vil blive opsat et stærkere hegn omkring området for at forhindre krydsning.

Beslutningen kommer fra Inlandsbanan, som administrerer jernbanelinjen. Mora Tidning rapporterede først om tiltaget.

Lukningen gennemføres for at forbedre sikkerheden ved jernbanen i Orsa.
