UniCredit øger ejerandel i Commerzbank til over 37 procent

Den italienske bank UniCredit har øget sin ejerandel i Commerzbank til 37,68 procent gennem et igangværende overtagelsestilbud. Yderligere aktier blev indsendt på trods af et tilbud, der ligger under den nuværende aktiekurs.

UniCredit annoncerede tirsdag, at aktionærer har indsendt 10,91 procent af Commerzbank-aktierne under det overtagelsestilbud, der har været i gang siden starten af maj. Dette hæver den Milano-baserede banks ejerandel fra 26,77 til 37,68 procent. Tilbuddet indebærer en ombytning af 0,485 UniCredit-aktier pr. Commerzbank-aktie. Med en Commerzbank-kurs på 36,80 euro er værdien dermed mere end to euro under den nuværende markedskurs. Commerzbank anklager UniCredit for at vildlede investorer. Ifølge instituttet i Frankfurt kommer de indsendte aktier hovedsageligt fra forretningspartnere som investeringsbanken Nomura og ikke fra institutionelle investorer. En talsmand for Commerzbank udtalte, at der endnu ikke er identificeret accept fra institutionelle investorer. De samlede accepter fra private investorer svarer kun til omkring 0,05 procent.
