Uppsala kommune øger tilgængeligheden før valget i 2026

Uppsala kommune implementerer en række tiltag for at gøre det lettere for ældre og mennesker med handicap at stemme ved valget den 13. september 2026.

Kommunen besøger alle pleje- og ældreboliger samt SiS-hjem, varetægtsfængsler og fængsler for at tilbyde tidlig brevstemmeafgivelse på stedet. Nyt i år er også besøg ved mødesteder inden for socialpsykiatrien, korttidsophold og en specialskole for elever med særlige behov.

Fra den 26. august kan vælgere afgive tidlige stemmer på et af de 19 valgsteder. En mobil valg-bus vil desuden stoppe 16 steder i landdistrikterne. De, der ikke kan komme hen til et valgsted, kan benytte en fuldmagt eller bestille mobil stemmeafgivelse.

Støtten inkluderer ledsagerhjælp uden at det påvirker godkendte timer, samt tegnsprogstolkning på udvalgte tidspunkter. Information om tilgængelighed på valgstederne er tilgængelig i de svenske valgmyndigheders kort. Kommunen investerer desuden i demokratiambassadører og information på letlæseligt svensk, tegnsprog og andre sprog.
