A 61-year-old man in Ångermanland has been sentenced to four years and five months in prison for gross procuring. Ångermanlands tingsrätt also convicted him of several other crimes after he sold his wife to over 120 men over several years.

The verdict was delivered on 16 June 2026. The court convicted the man of gross procuring, one case of attempted rape, two cases of assault, six cases of unlawful threats and a minor doping offence. He was acquitted of eight rapes for which he had been charged.

The man, a former Hells Angels leader, must also pay 200 000 kronor in damages to the woman. According to the prosecutor, he forced his wife to sell sexual services to 121 men over a period of more than three years on a farm in Kramfors.

Ångermanlands tingsrätt simultaneously convicted 28 of 29 charged sex buyers for a total of 56 purchases of sexual services or acts. Judge Johan Ahlberg stressed that the court had found it proven that the man had influenced his wife through prolonged nagging and derogatory language.
