Alexander brothers found guilty on all sex trafficking charges

A federal jury in Manhattan convicted brothers Tal, Oren, and Alon Alexander on all counts in their sex trafficking trial on Monday. The verdict followed four weeks of testimony from victims accusing the wealthy siblings of drugging and assaulting dozens of women and girls over more than a decade. Sentencing is set for August 6.

Jurors in Manhattan federal court delivered the guilty verdict after weeks of emotional testimony. The Alexander brothers—Tal, 39, and 38-year-old twins Oren and Alon—faced 10 counts, including conspiracy to commit sex trafficking and multiple charges of sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion. They had pleaded not guilty following their arrest in December 2024 in Miami, where they resided. The trial occurred in New York City, one of several locations where victims reported assaults.

Prosecutors, led by Assistant U.S. Attorney Andrew Jones, presented accounts from 11 victims detailing how the brothers allegedly used their wealth and status to lure women, including two teenagers, before drugging and sexually abusing them. In some cases, the indictment claimed the brothers recorded the incidents. The defense maintained that all encounters were consensual, describing the brothers' behavior as sometimes 'obnoxious' but not criminal.

During the verdict reading, Oren Alexander shook his head softly, while Tal put his head down. Their parents attended the proceedings, with a family friend comforting their mother. U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton stated, 'The sex crimes highlighted in the trial are all too prevalent in our society and all too often go unreported and unpunished. The truth is sex trafficking and other federal sex offenses are present in many walks of life and we have not done enough to root it out.'

Outside the courthouse, defense attorney Marc Agnifilo told reporters, 'We believe in our clients' innocence and we're not going to stop fighting until we prevail.' He noted potential appeals issues, expressing disappointment but unwavering resolve.

Before their arrests, Oren and Tal were prominent in luxury real estate, known as 'The A Team' for brokering high-end properties in New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. Alon, a law school graduate, held an executive role at the family's private security firm.
