Arbetsförmedlingen sentenced for discriminating against man with disabilities

A man with cognitive disabilities in Malmö was denied adapted support by Arbetsförmedlingen. The agency has now been sentenced for discrimination.

The man registered with Arbetsförmedlingen in the summer of 2021. He was then subject to requirements to apply for a number of vacant positions each month and submit an activity report.

The man encountered problems with the reporting and requested adapted support. The agency denied his request.

The man lost his compensation as a result of the problems. Arbetsförmedlingen is sentenced for discrimination on grounds of disability.
