Following an unannounced inspection at a farm in central Dalarna, the County Administrative Board of Dalarna has issued an immediate decision.
An animal owner must now immediately begin providing sufficient feed to the sheep. Several animals were found to be thin and malnourished.
The decision followed the unannounced inspection. The county board acted quickly to ensure the animals' welfare.
The County Administrative Board of Dalarna has required a sheep owner to immediately shear the sheep, trim their hooves, and provide dry and clean lying places following an inspection. The deficiencies are serious, including one ewe euthanized after being found with a prolapse.
