DGA verlängert Vertrag von Russell Hollander bis 2029

Die Directors Guild of America hat den Vertrag ihres National Executive Director, Russell Hollander, bis 2029 verlängert. Hollander, der die Gewerkschaft seit 2017 leitet, beaufsichtigt die Verhandlungen und den operativen Betrieb für ihre 19.500 Mitglieder. Die Vertragsverlängerung erfolgt im Vorfeld anstehender Tarifverhandlungen mit großen Filmstudios.

Russell Hollander bleibt bis 2029 National Executive Director der Directors Guild of America, wie die Gewerkschaft am 27. April bekannt gab. In einer Erklärung drückte Hollander seine Dankbarkeit für das Vertrauen des Vorstands angesichts des Branchenwandels aus. „Ich fühle mich durch das anhaltende Vertrauen des Vorstands in meine Arbeit für die Mitglieder geehrt, insbesondere in Zeiten unglaublicher Veränderungen“, sagte er. Er unterstrich die Mission der Gewerkschaft, die kreativen und wirtschaftlichen Rechte ihrer Mitglieder durch die partnerschaftliche Zusammenarbeit zwischen Führungskräften und Mitarbeitern voranzubringen.
