Ägyptens Exporte steigen im April um 21,1 Prozent auf 5,1 Milliarden Dollar

Offizielle Daten, die heute veröffentlicht wurden, zeigen, dass Ägyptens Exporte im April 2026 im Vergleich zum Vorjahr um 21,1 Prozent auf 5,1 Milliarden Dollar gestiegen sind.

Nach Angaben der Zentralbehörde für öffentliche Mobilisierung und Statistik stiegen die Exporte von 4,2 Milliarden Dollar im April 2025. Das Wachstum wurde durch Zuwächse bei Erdölprodukten um 44,8 Prozent, konfektionierter Kleidung um 30 Prozent und frischem Obst um 62,6 Prozent angetrieben.

Mehrere Rohstoffe verzeichneten Rückgänge, darunter Düngemittel, die um 58,4 Prozent fielen, sowie Eisenstäbe, Stangen, Winkel und Draht, die um 37,6 Prozent zurückgingen. Die Importe stiegen um 20,7 Prozent auf 9,9 Milliarden Dollar, wodurch sich das Handelsbilanzdefizit um 20,2 Prozent auf 4,8 Milliarden Dollar ausweitete.

Die Behörde stellte fest, dass das Importwachstum durch Weizen, Kupfer und Kunststoffe in Primärformen angeführt wurde, während Erdölprodukte und Personenkraftwagen rückläufig waren.
