Die Nationale Dialogkommission hat sich darauf vorbereitet, 4000 Vertreter für die historische Konferenz zu empfangen, die am 8. Juli 2018 äth. Kal. beginnt.

Der Hauptkommissar Prof. Mesfin Ar'aya erklärte, dass der Prozess ein entscheidendes Stadium erreicht habe. Es wurden Anstrengungen unternommen, um Streitkräfte, Vertriebene und im Ausland lebende Äthiopier einzubeziehen.

Es wird erwartet, dass die Konferenz in einem respektvollen Geist verläuft. Die Kommission wird die Umsetzung der Empfehlungen nach der Versammlung genau überwachen.

Mesfin Ar'aya sagte, dass der Dialog alle Parteien zu Gewinnern machen werde.
