Regierung nutzt Projekte, um UDA-Wähler in Ol Kalou zu gewinnen

Die von Präsident William Ruto geführte UDA-Partei setzt Entwicklungsprojekte ein, um Wähler für die am 16. Juli angesetzte Parlamentsnachwahl in Ol Kalou zu gewinnen.

Hochrangige Regierungsvertreter haben verschiedene Entwicklungsprojekte in der Region gestartet. Bauministerin Alice Wahome und Tourismusministerin Rebecca Miano gehören zu den Führungspersönlichkeiten, die Ol Kalou besucht haben.

Am vergangenen Wochenende eröffnete Wahome gemeinsam mit anderen Beamten das Grundbuchamt von Nyandarua und gab 2700 Eigentumsurkunden aus. Wahome bezeichnete den Schritt als historisch, da er die Dienstleistungen näher an die Bürger bringe.

Am 2. Juni eröffnete Miano den Bahnhof von Ol Kalou. Der Abgeordnete von Gatanga, Edward Muriu, kritisierte diese Strategie und sagte, dass Projekte die Wähler nicht beeinflussen würden.
