During a Midsummer celebration in a village outside Mora in June last year, a discussion about fishing escalated. A man in his mid-20s pressed another man into a glowing fire pit and held him there until others intervened, according to the ruling from Mora District Court.
The victim provided a detailed and credible account supported by several witnesses, the court stated. The man tried to roll out of the fire but got stuck, and the attacker grabbed him to keep him in place.
