Bürgermeister der MCD schlägt Änderungen zur Entkriminalisierung geringfügiger Ordnungswidrigkeiten vor

Der Bürgermeister der Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), Raja Iqbal Singh, hat Änderungen des Delhi Municipal Corporation Act von 1957 vorgeschlagen, um geringfügige Ordnungswidrigkeiten zu entkriminalisieren und den Rechtsrahmen bürgerfreundlicher zu gestalten. Er erklärte, dass diese Änderungen einen Wandel von einer rein strafenden Durchsetzung hin zu einem ausgewogenen, auf Einhaltung ausgerichteten Ansatz widerspiegeln.

Der Bürgermeister der Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), Raja Iqbal Singh, sagte am Sonntag, dass die vorgeschlagenen Änderungen des Delhi Municipal Corporation Act von 1957 darauf abzielten, geringfügige Ordnungswidrigkeiten zu entkriminalisieren und den Rechtsrahmen bürgerfreundlicher, rationaler und unterstützender zu gestalten.

„Diese vorgeschlagenen Änderungen spiegeln einen Wandel von einer strafenden Durchsetzung hin zu einem ausgewogeneren, auf Einhaltung ausgerichteten Ansatz wider, der die Zusammenarbeit zwischen den Bürgern und der Stadtverwaltung fördert“, so der Bürgermeister.

Die Änderungen zielen darauf ab, die Vorschriften der MCD kooperativer zu gestalten, wobei die Einhaltung der Regeln stärker betont wird als strenge Strafen für geringfügige Verstöße. Raja Iqbal Singh betonte, dass dieser Schritt die Beziehungen zwischen den Bürgern und der Verwaltung verbessern werde.
