Prosecutor seeks maximum sentence for 18-year-old after bomb drama

The prosecutor is demanding the longest possible fixed-term prison sentence for the 18-year-old charged in last winter’s bomb drama in Rättvik.

The trial against the young man began in mid-June but was paused to allow a psychiatric examination of the suspect.

The prosecutor has now presented a demand for the strictest possible sentence under the law.

The case concerns the bomb drama in Rättvik during the winter and has been described as one of the heavier local criminal news stories.
