Oppositionsführer Rahul Gandhi sagte während einer Padayatra in Haryana am 8. Mai, dass nur der Congress die BJP in einem Kampf der Ideologien besiegen könne.

Rahul Gandhi erklärte am 8. Mai vor einer jubelnden Menge auf der Khandsa Road in Gurugram, dass es sich um einen Kampf der Ideologien handele – zwischen der Ideologie des Hasses und der Spaltung durch den RSS und der Ideologie der Liebe und Einheit des Congress.

Der Congress-Führer sagte, nur seine Partei könne die BJP und insbesondere Narendra Modi und Amit Shah besiegen. Er warf dem Premierminister vor, das demokratische System und die Verfassung von Ambedkar anzugreifen.

Die von dem ehemaligen Abgeordneten Brijendra Singh geleitete Sadbhav Yatra hat in über sieben Monaten 2700 km durch 85 Wahlkreise zurückgelegt, um die Harmonie zu fördern.
