Researchers from South American institutions have identified a new spider species, Pikelinia floydmuraria, named after the band Pink Floyd and its habitat on building walls. Despite measuring just 3 to 4 millimeters, the spider hunts ants up to six times its body size and targets urban pests like mosquitoes and flies. Researchers in China have discovered the fossilized remains of a juvenile iguanodontian dinosaur from 125 million years ago, featuring exceptionally preserved skin and unique hollow spikes.
