Rusinque noted that tourism is a strategic sector for the national government. She stressed the need for oversight to protect user rights and promote fair markets. Cortés Calle said traveler security is a non-negotiable priority. She added that both entities will share tools to prevent fraud and educate the public. As a result, they set a roadmap to improve complaint channels and run awareness campaigns to help verify official agencies.
