Amit Shah inaugura el Million Minds Tech Park e insta a Gujarat a situarse entre los tres principales estados del sector servicios

El ministro del Interior de la Unión, Amit Shah, inauguró el domingo el Million Minds Tech Park en Ahmedabad, haciendo un llamamiento a Gujarat para que asegure una posición entre los tres principales estados en el sector servicios.

Shah intervino en el evento, señalando los logros de Gujarat en manufactura, ingeniería y energía verde. Afirmó que el estado debe ahora centrarse en los servicios y las TI para estar a la altura de ciudades como Bengaluru y Hyderabad.

El parque abarca 65 acres y 13,5 lakh de pies cuadrados en su primera fase, construido con un coste aproximado de 1.100 millones de rupias. Se espera que dé soporte a 9.000 profesionales inicialmente y que se amplíe a lo largo de siete fases con una inversión total de 15.000 millones de rupias, generando más de 63.000 puestos de trabajo en cinco años.

Shekhar Patel, director general y CEO de Ganesh Housing Ltd., describió el proyecto como una iniciativa de crecimiento económico que generará más de 70.000 empleos directos e indirectos, al tiempo que atraerá a corporaciones globales a Ahmedabad.
