BBVA anuncia inversión en inteligencia artificial en Colombia

BBVA anunció una inversión superior a 300.000 millones de pesos en inteligencia artificial y capacidades tecnológicas en Colombia, en el marco de sus 30 años de presencia en el país.

El Grupo BBVA ha invertido casi 10 billones de pesos en Colombia desde 1996, entre capital y utilidades reinvertidas. Esta cifra lo posiciona como el mayor inversor extranjero en el sector financiero y uno de los diez mayores en todos los sectores.

Las inversiones han permitido financiar proyectos de familias y empresas por más de 700 billones de pesos, equivalentes a cerca de cuatro millones de viviendas. BBVA y Bancamía mantienen oficinas en los 32 departamentos del país.

En el contexto de estos tres decenios, la entidad reveló el nuevo compromiso con la inteligencia artificial para poner su conocimiento global al servicio del desarrollo nacional. El anuncio resalta la confianza sostenida en las instituciones y el talento colombiano.
