SaaS y fintech concentran casi la mitad de las 2.295 startups en Colombia

El número de startups en Colombia creció 9,3% en 2025 hasta alcanzar 2.295 empresas activas, según el Colombia Tech Report 2026 de KPMG.

SaaS representa 27% del total y fintech 20%, sumando 1.075 empresas. Healthtech ocupa el tercer lugar con 202 compañías.

El ecosistema recibió 857 millones de dólares en inversión durante 2025, lo que equivale a 20% del capital regional. Fondos locales aportaron 38,5 millones de dólares en etapas tempranas.

Rodrigo Rivera, presidente de KPMG Colombia, señaló que el número de emprendimientos pasó de 1.100 en 2021 a 2.295 hoy. Bogotá y Cundinamarca concentran 46% de las startups, seguidas por Antioquia con 30%.
